Thanks! I take it you got the stuff from Jason's board recently, the stuff they put together to raise money for Anna? There's some great old Grandaddy stuff and the recordings of his recent shows for anyone who wants to check it out talkscape.jasonlytle.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=378

Was the mod for Grandaddylandscape for years...and am currently a mod for Jason's site. I've got pretty much everything that out in the ether when it comes to them. .

I figured you'd have the old stuff, I was referring more to the more recent shows. Just thought other people might like to check it out, that's all.

I'm having a real hard time getting into Jason's new stuff. I loved the album, but I don't care much for the new live shows for some reason. I dunno...I guess I really miss the band. Break-ups are a motherfucker. Did you download my dios post before the board shut down? .

Yeah, thanks for the dios...I have a couple of things of theirs already, but didn't have that I've got BLA Autumnland that you were talking about and a live BLA recording too. I actually really like Jason's new stuff. I saw his show in London in May and he was great...I liked the 'slowed down' Grandaddy stuff he played too so maybe that's why the live show recordings clicked with me. I saw Grandaddy too years ago, probably would have been round about 2001 and I've got most of their stuff I think So what else should I listen to? I like recommendations?

I personally think that Joe Henry is amazing. Grizzly Bear is great...but I think they dip into the past a bit much. Margot and the Nuclear So and So's is well worth checking out. Los Campesinos is fun.
I dunno...I've been on jazz kick for so long that I am a bit out of touch with some of the newer stuff. I swear, I listened to In a Silent Way for almost two weeks straight.
You should p.m. the grobe...that dude has the best musical taste in a human being that I've ever seen. He'll send you in good directions...

To be honest I usually download stuff and if i really like it I'll buy it. Looking forward to some album links though, that'd be cool. I miss your old site
